When We Are Closedtelephone_brown

The NHS24 Service provides medical cover outside normal working hours (between 18:00 and 08:00). To contact this service, call 08454 24 24 24. Please note that the service is for emergency use only.

When you telephone the service you will be given advice and, if appropriate, asked to attend the GP Emergency Centre or a house call will be  arranged.  The service is mostly manned by GP’s who work in the immediate area, so that the level of care is similar to that which we provide ourselves.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
