If you have travelled to the UK from mainland China, Thailand, Japan, Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia or Macau in the previous 14 days and are experiencing cough or fever or shortness of breath, you should stay indoors, call your GP or if we are closed ring NHS 24 (111) informing them of your symptoms and your recent travel.  Do not leave home until you have been given advice by a clinican.

For the latest public information on coronavirus visit

steth_pills_diaryTo book an appointment, please phone either 01505 320151 or 01505 331101.

At the moment, we are operating on a ten minute appointment per patient basis.  If you have more than one medical problem you wish to discuss with the doctor, please ask for a double appointment.

Extended Hours

We currently have a surgery on Mondays, from 18:00 – 19:15. This is to cater for patients who are working and cannot attend during normal hours. This surgery is by prior appointment and is for urgent or emergency cases only.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly.

If you are still sitting in the waiting room 20 minutes after your appointment time, please speak to reception. Sometimes the doctor is running late as he/she has had to deal with problems that take longer than the allotted appointment time. Sometimes mistakes are made, so please, speak to us and do not wait too long before asking for an explanation.

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
